I’ve seen some of the same issues with Market Samurai locking up.

My program must be very bullet proof if ‘regular’ users are going to run it. The way the program works in ‘running’ commands on Market Samurai makes that somewhat of a problem.

I have seen in my testing that Market Samurai will stop on one site and not finish doing the Rank Tracker update. It just hangs there. So I hit the cancel button on my program. Then I click cancel in MS and wait until it quits. Then I click the button in my program to ‘Start Update At Last Site Processed’ and off it goes again. When I’m testing on a group of 30 sites it may do this once or twice during the update. Which is disheartening.

A fix to this would be for me to keep track of how long each update takes for each MS Project (site). If, for example, the Rank Tracker runs twice a long as ‘normal’ I could have the program automatically cancel out. Move on to the next project. Then come back to any ‘skipped’ projects at the end and try them again. I’m looking at this option now….

If the program seems to be locked up, you can try going to my program and cancelling it first.

Cancel Processing

Then you can try cancelling Market Samurai if possible:

My main goal in testing my program is to find out if it can be made user-friendly enough so regular people can use it. If I can there are a lot of extra features I can add. For those of you who are beta testing, please give me any feedback on how difficult the program is for you to work with.
